Every area of overhead line construction has its own special features. The cables can be insulated aerial cables, AL or CU conductors, Aldrey cables, Alumoweld conductors or underground cables with internal glass fibers, so-called OPGW. As a result, very different requirements are placed on the cable pulling devices.
Our wide range of tried and tested transport trailers and lifting devices forms a solid basis for safe transportation of the cable drum and subsequently for professional cable laying. By upgrading with drum drives, these cable trailers can also be converted into perfect cable laying trolleys.
The major advantages of cable capstan winches are the double capstan. The force is transmitted to the cable via two driven grooved pulleys and not via the cable drum. The pulling force and speed remain constant and the rope is protected.
Cable systems in industry, power plants, ducts or tunnels are often complicated and difficult to access. They require a high degree of flexibility and extensive experience from the cable layer.
