Vetter on the move

In order to further develop the organisation and to secure the future of our company, we started building our new “Customer and Training Centre” on our adjacent plot of land in spring 2019.

The building was completed in summer 2020 and our sales team was able to move into the new office space.

We have been able to hold our seminars and training courses under optimal conditions since September.

The new building with seminar rooms and showrooms offers our customers, seminar and training attendees the opportunity to examine almost all machines and tools and test their functionality in an area covering more than 1,300 m².

ERP project and digitalisation

With Go Live on 1 March 2024, we are introducing oxaion open, a new and state-of-the-art ERP system. This is the third ERP system in the company's history and it will help us to make our business processes more secure, transparent and efficient.

At the same time, we examine digitisation potential on a daily basis in order to make everyday work more pleasant for our business partners and our employees while conserving resources, e.g. by reducing paper consumption.

Mindful Process Management (MPM)

At the same time as construction began in spring 2019, we decided to introduce mindful process management (aPM).

Mindful Process Management contains deliberately designed work processes derived from the strategy and customer requirements, taking into consideration the work-life balance of every single employee.

MPM encompasses the three pillars of process development, process management and the process culture.

Environmental protection and sustainability

Environmental protection and sustainability are important to us. We installed the second photovoltaic plant in 2019, which means we now have a total output of 105 kW and only have to resort to electricity from the grid on rare occasions. Moreover, we can use the PV plant to feed four power charging stations to charge up the hybrid or electric cars of our employees and customers.

Our Environment and Sustainability Committee, consisting of six employees from different areas, meets four times a year.

The committee evaluates the ideas and suggestions of the employees and follows up on the implementation of the measures decided upon.
