The SKS 03 micro transmitter is the result of extensive research and development – created through close cooperation between Vetter GmbH and Vesala.
This innovative product is the outcome of extensive research and development work as well as the close cooperation between Vetter and Vesala.
Reliable inspection or control of the subducts before blowing in the fibre optic cables was hardly possible until now. Faults and problems were often only discovered at a later stage – and the consequences were costly and time-consuming.
The SKS 03 is ideally suited for subducts with an internal diameter of 3.5 mm and above. It can therefore be used for house connections with 7×1.5 mm ducts, as well as for 5×0.75 mm and 10×2.0 mm duct systems.
A previously unmatched technical solution that opens up entirely new and efficient possibilities. Calibration requires a maximum of 4 bar pressure. The micro transmitter has demonstrated this over distances of up to 1,250 m.
The Rod adapter!
We listen when it matters on site: based on practical requirements, we have further developed one of our most successful micro transmitters.
The SKS 03 now features a key innovation:
an integrated thread at the probe end allows, for the first time, a secure combination with a specially developed insertion damper (Rod adapter).
More flexibility. More safety. More possibilities.
Thanks to this enhancement, the micro transmitter can now be used effortlessly in conjunction with insertion solutions – a clear improvement over previous applications. The newly available insertion damper reliably protects the probe from mechanical stress and minimises the risk of damage during insertion.
