Latest design of pilot rope winch with Honda-petrol engine. This winch is not any more driven by a V-belt, but with a better positive mode transmission chain drive. This guarantees higher power train to the drum. For blowing-in pilot ropes from declutched drum through conduits for afterwards introducing bigger pulling ropes from cable winches or for direct pulling-in of smaller cables such as fibre optic cables or single or bundle subducts. The drum is divisible for coiling cords, ropes or cables and can easy be removed from the winch e.g. for using drums with other ropes. Capacity up to 1100 m D 4 mm or 750 m D 5 mm. Mobile on two pneumatic wheels in wheelbarrow form.
The winch is available in two different versions. With a dynamometer with adjustable maximum load and automatic switch-off or with preparation for an electronic recorder MP 50 (not included in the scope of delivery), which digitally displays and stores the pulling force, the length, as well as the speed per m/min. All data can be transferred to a PC or laptop via a USB connection. For safety reasons, the winch is limited to 5.0 kN on the lowest rope layer.
The pilot rope winches are equipped with a manual rope winding guide and a rope protection bonnet in accordance with accident prevention regulations. The winch with dynamometer can be equipped with a mech. length measuring device code 232380, SLM 510 (see further below) for an extra charge. The electronic recorder includes length and speed measurement.
Types SBS 510DL and 510ML with slower speed for pulling sensitive cables
Latest design of pilot rope winch with SEW-electric motor. Mobile on two pneumatic wheels.
The winch is available in two different versions. With a dynamometer with overload cut-off, or with an electronic digital line pull data recorder MP 30 with USB interface, for pulling-in fibre optic cables, subducts or delicate cables. For safety reason the pulling force on the drum bottom is limited to 5,0 kN.
Each winch is equipped with hand operated rope guide and a rope protection cover according to the rules. The winch with dynamometer can be equipped with the mechanical rope length measuring device Code 232380, SLM 510 see further below. In the winch version with data recorder MP 30 a length and speed measuring device is included.
Frequency converter allows to adapt the speed infinitely variable to the cable pull
Electronic recorder MP 50 as pulling force measuring and registration device for cable capstan winches. For safe and simple machine operation. Permanently monitors the pulling force and stops the winch when the pre-set pulling force is reached.
Registration and logging of data as well as PDF report output incl. representation as diagram via USB inter-face or wireless transfer.
The MP 50 is supplied with a charging cable for 12V or 230V in a separate case. During work, the battery is charged using the SBS 511's removable battery. Can be used on all auxiliary rope winches in the M/ML version.
Input and display of the most important parameters on a 7" TFT touchscreen, such as:
Pulling force - Speed - Distance - GPS-Position - Cable data
Base frame for fixed mounting of all above-mentioned pilot rope winches on vehicle platforms or for installation in vans. With integrated telescoping roll for safe rope guide near vehicle platform edges.
This frame is also for retrofitting on all Vetter pilot rope winches supplied after August 2014. Anyway the winch can be changed and also be used as a mobile one. Hot galvanized steel construction.
Steel rope drum alone, divisible for coiling cords, ropes or cable rings, suitable to pilot rope winches SBS 510 and SES 410. Dimension D 410/100x210 mm, for rope up to 1100 m D 4 mm, or 750 m D 5 mm. For coiling rings there will be mounted 3 segments into the drum. With this mounted steel segments the capacity will be reduced to app. 900 m D 4 or 500 m D 5 mm.
Using some of these loose drums it is possible to blow-in pilot ropes in multi manholes and conduits.
With the drums it is possible to blow ropes without the winch.
The drum support is equipped with a foot brake to control the pay-out of the rope.
With built-in steel segments stronger pulls than 1 kN are not possible.
The steel segments must only be used for coiling cords or small cables.
Swivels with friction bearings, turnable connector between winch rope and cable grip. The friction bearing guarantees that the swivel reduces rotation and torsion with increasing pulling force. Only for underground cables, not suitable for pulling overhead lines.
