Overhead line construction

Each area of overhead line construction has its special features. The cables or lines can be insulated aerial cable, AL or CU conductors, Aldrey wires, Alumoweld conductors or ground wires with internal fibre optics, so-called OPGW. That is why very different requirements are placed on the line-pulling equipment. Questions need to be asked, such as: Do the rollers have to be fitted with a rubber insert? Is the bending radius sufficient, or might tandem devices have to be used? How will old lines be replaced which have to cross roads, railways lines or rivers without disrupting traffic? There are lots of questions – most of which we can give you an answer to. We would be happy to talk about any issues and features concerning your tasks.
